Long drives back and forth from home to the hospital; sleeping in uncomfortable chairs in waiting and patient rooms; the financial burden of astronomical medical costs and night after night in a hotel just to be close; the emotional heartache of watching your child suffer; and feeling alone in the process.

Families of children receiving medical care deserve love, comfort, and a place to call home that helps make their journey a little bit easier, though it will never be easy.

The Ronald McDonald House is a place for families to stay that offers personalized care, and support, along with practical ammenities such as home cooked meals, laundry facilities, free WiFi, and of course a room to call your own for the duration of your stay. Hotels are expensive, and could never provide the care these families need. The RMHC 17 room, 30,000 square foot facility serves families from all over the Midwest region traveling to Fargo for medical care.

In addition to the House itself, the Ronald McDonald House Charities believes in community outreach, volunteer support, fundraising for new programs, and above all spreading good. Red and white stripes have come to symbolize the incredible service the Ronald McDonald House Charities provides all over the world.
