Fargo New Life Center
The New Life Center is not just a shelter for the homeless men of the Fargo /
Moorhead area, it is a full-service organization creating real and lasting change in the lives of all
who walk through their doors. They aim to help everyone discover value in living and find hope to
continue while providing the necessary services and assistance those who are suffering need to get back
on their feet.
Interested in giving back to the Fargo / Moorhead community? The New Life Center wants you to get
involved! They accept monetary donations, in-kind donations, thrift store donations, and of course
volunteer services.
From homeless and hurting to whole and healthy
1. Emergency Shelter Service
Available to men, 18 years or older. Begins at 7 am.
2. Everyday Meal Services
Lunch from 12-12:30 PM; Dinner from 5-5:30 PM
3. Harbor Program
Includes case management, health assessments, mentoring and education opportunities, and assistance with
employment, housing, and personal identification documents.
4. Passport Program
Includes case management, addiction and recovery services, mentoring, community network connections, and
educational courses in employment, housing, life skills, finance, communication, and networking.
5. Genesis Program
In-house relapse prevention program teaching participants coping skills, personal accountability,
healthy relationships, and community. This program focuses on 5 important areas of development including
educational, emotional, spiritual, social, and physical health.
6. Medical Respite Program
Onsite medical care from a staffed registered nurse for those recovering from medical procedures and
illness who lack the support systems, finances, insurance, and care that would allow them to heal
properly.
