How to: Place a Self-Serve Custom Order

Are you looking to make some custom apparel? Whether you’re a design expert or a newbie, creating a custom order with us only takes 5 simple steps!

Step One: Pick a product

After you get to our site, go to “Custom Orders” in the menu bar. When you hover over it, you will see a couple of different categories: Printed Apparel, Embroidered, Items, School Pride, and Promo Swag. Choose the category you think you’ll find your product in, or just browse through everything! Once you pick out your product, move on to step 2!

Step Two: Uploading artwork

Now that you picked out your product, it’s time to upload your artwork. You can upload any file type that you have your artwork in! Just make sure what you upload is EXACTLY what you want printed/embroidered on your product.

After uploading, make sure to check the box for the acknowledgment!

Step Three: Design Placement

For most products, you will have an option for where you would like your artwork, either left chest or full front. For the other products, such as tote bags, we are only able to place it in the center.

Step Four: Choose your size and colors

Now it’s time to pick out the color(s) and size(s) you want. Because of the handy dandy chart we have, you can choose different colors, sizes, and quantities. If you’re not seeing the color you want, email us at: hello@shirtsfromfargo.co and we can try to find that color for you!

If you are customizing an embroidered product, make sure to let us know what thread color you would like!

Step Five: Add to cart

Now that you’re done customizing your product, make sure to add it to the cart! And that’s it! Your order should be ready in about 2 weeks.

Pro tip: The more of the same products you buy, the cheaper it gets! Check out the price breaks on each product!
