BIO Girls

"BIO" in BIO Girls means "Beautiful, Inside and Out" and if that doesn't sum up the beauty of this 501(c)3 registered non-profit, we don't know what does! Bio Girls was founded by Missy Heilman in 2013 with a vision of helping young girls find their voice.

BIO Girls is on a mission to improve the self-esteem of adolescent girls through the empowerment of self and service to others. This 12-week program that combines life-skills lessons, small group mentoring, and physical activity in a positive, inclusive environment. They're showing girls ages 7-12 how to build self-worth based on their values, talents, philanthropy, and individuality, so they can confidently stand up to social pressures.
